Front of deck

Kennedy Kards were published in 1963 by Humor House. This bridge sized deck has the standard 52 cards with one joker card (the joker is the Democratic Party donkey). The face cards are members of the Kennedy family as well as other officials. JFK is the Jack of Hearts, Jackie Kennedy is the Queen of Hearts, and Bobby Kennedy, the King of Diamonds. An informational card is included which proclaims, “Long live the King, Queen and Jack.” Lyndon Johnson was the Jack of Clubs, and within the year he would be president.

I have two decks of these. My first deck was won on an eBay auction and came with three Robert Kennedy for President buttons. The deck is open, and while the outer box is dirty and slightly warn the cards are in very good condition. I also have a second deck still sealed (pictured), but the plastic is yellowed, dried out, and cracking off. The package is in perfect condition underneath.

Friday the 13th front of deck showing card back design

These Friday the 13th playing cards are an official New Line Cinema release. Printed in 2006, the back design is the same as seen on the front of the pack, and the inside cards feature 52 full color images from the franchise. There is another Friday the 13th deck of playing cards that is easier to find. This particular deck isn’t sold in too many places anymore.  Read more »

These are official Disney Parks Haunted Mansion playing cards. These were first issued in 2011.  The back design is glow in the dark, and the ace and face cards each have one of the four portraits from the stretching room at the beginning of the ride.  These were only available at Disney Parks and is in its original packaging and the cards are still plastic sealed. This deck’s outer cardboard cover has wear damage on the edges. I have two of this deck.

Bicycle Luchadores Playing Cards

Bicycle playing cards issues special decks all of the time. This one celebrates the Lucha Libre! The deck contains 16 different Luchadores, including their  finishing moves. The deck also features hand-drawn number cards, court cards, and Jokers.

Issue year is 2014.
